William Xu paves the way for the tax gig economy
Plenty is made of the gig economy today and there have been several businesses focussed on making this possible in the service industry. However, none have ventured into the corporate tax space to disrupt the way traditional accounting firms are structured, operate and ultimately deliver services to clients ... until now.
We are extremely proud to have someone of William Xu's calibre participate in Namaru's push to develop the tax gig economy.
William is an experienced finance and tax adviser previously working in a private equity owned international education provider. He has now joined Namaru as an adviser and is quintessentially the first wave of the tax gig economy.
Why, you ask:
Work with experienced partners
William works with a number of Namaru partners on a diverse range of clients from engineering, education, agriculture and financial services. He has the ability to learn from some of the most experienced in the tax profession.
Run your own client base
William also runs his own clients as part of the Namaru framework, where he is responsible directly to the client.
Be your own boss
William runs FutureTax (his own consulting entity) and is already developing a pool of resources to assist him.
Set your own fees and hours
William is free to set his "market rate" and works the hours he chooses, the only deadlines are client driven.
Work from home
William works out home most days and comes into the city for client obligations as and when needed.
